I had some time to do a little cooking this past weekend and decided to make a video for my magic ribs. Unfortunately I got so excited that I forgot to film a proper ending… but I can assure you that these things are fall off the bone pork-awesomeness.
Easiest directions ever:
- Take your ribs and cover them with olive oil, lots of fresh garlic and BBQ dry rub
- Place ribs in a pan with 1/4 inch of chardonnay in the bottom
- Cover with tin foil
- Cook in oven for 3 hrs at 350 degrees.
- Remove and coat ribs with BBQ sauce.
- Grill to perfection.
- Drop me a line and let me know what you think.
I have never even had ribs, but I am now craving them like they’re going out of style. *drool* Thanks for the midnight craving, Ted!
How long do you put them on the grill?
Wow, I use the same sauce too, usually the spicy one but good stuff on adding chardonay and garlic, will try it next time I BBQ. Btw, ironic I found your blog and I use an IZEA mousepad as my elbow pad when I surf the web.
What type of dry rub to you use? Do you make your own or use a prepared brand. These look so yummy. I also usually do my ribs in the oven but I’ve never tried the wine. I’ll try this out next time.
Those look fabulous!
Ted, I made these tonight and I have to tell you they were the best ribs I’ve ever had! Falling off the bone delicious. You should have put up a disclaimer about the house smelling like garlic for 3 days. It will be worth it though.

Wow – those ribs look sooooo good!
Ted, you know that I love these ribs…except for when Doug makes the homemade rib rub. Thanks for the awesome recipe.
