Yesterday Ashley and I spent the morning making donations to charity. We donated 104 boxes of cereal to Rock For Hunger and an awesome set of Craftsman tools to Habitat for Humanity.

I want to thank Sears and IZEA again for providing the gift card that made my tool donation possible.
How about you? What are you doing to give back this holiday season? If you blogged about it please leave a link in the comments below.
Glad to see you are involved in local charities. And nice choices!
Ted, That was a great thing you guys did, also great video. In our home we decided to help out Heifer International in a program I call Stock Eva’s Farm. http://www.benspark.com/help-stock-evas-farm.html We purchased a share of a Llama and a flock of chicks.
Doing the Sears promotion really inspired us and so we are setting aside $10 a month to raise money for Christmas is For Kids again next year. I think we may try and save enough to purchase a whole water buffalo next year for Heifer international as well. As our family grows we are going to involve our children (only Eva now and plans for more but NO NEWS or anything like that) in these outings to show them how they can help as well.
Also I am raising money for The Relay for Life with sales from my 2009 Photo-A-Day Calendar. http://www.benspark.com/bensparks-2009-photo-a-day-calendar.html
I did extend some help in my old school back home (Philippines) last Christmas. I am still doing some more for March project. Good to know that you are doing those things. Its really fun helping others.
Great work guys! While I know that Habitat and RFH appreciated the help, maybe you could also do some charity for local drivers like me and let Ashley operate the camera next time?
On a serious note, I’d love to help with the next Charity Day. Let me know when you’re doing it!
